Therwil, le 23 mars 2012 – Le plus grand et plus important congrès mondial des praticiens européens de la parodontologie, en juin de cette année, est un rendez-vous que GABA ne peut pas manquer. Le spécialiste en prévention orale participera avec un stand d’exposition et deux symposiums scientifiques à Europerio7 à Vienne. Avec Colgate-Palmolive, GABA est sponsor de platine du congrès.
Aussi bien le stand d’exposition que le symposium Colgate-GABA le vendredi 8 juin seront organisés en commun avec Colgate. «Three things every dental professional should know about peri-implant diseases» est le titre du symposium qui sera ouvert par le Prof. Dr. Søren Jepsen (Bonn). Les intervenants et leurs thèmes:
• Prof. Dr. Mariano Sanz (Madrid): «Risk factors associated with peri-implant diseases»;
• Dr. Angelo Mariotti (Columbus/USA): «Implant maintenance and the prevention of peri-implant diseases»;
• Prof. Dr. Stefan Renvert (Kristianstad/Suède): «Management of peri-implant diseases».
Le même jour, avec traduction simultanée en allemand, aura lieu aussi un symposium DGP-GABA sous le titre «Supportive maintenance – The key to long-term success of periodontal and implant therapy ». La présentation sera assurée par le Prof. Dr. Peter Eickholz (Francfort/Main). Les intervenants et leurs thèmes:
• Dr. Christoph Ramseier (Berne): «How to structure supportive periodontal therapy according to patients‘ individual risk?»;
• Prof. Dr. Thomas Kocher (Greifswald): «Periodontal disease progression in subjects with and without maintenance»;
• Prof. Dr. Andrea Mombelli (Genève): «Supportive peri-implant therapy».
